Richard Plummer,  Principal/Partner

As Senior Director & Principal, Richard is  your direct liaison ensuring  all aspects of your project and initiatives are optimized from start to finish.   

Richard Plummer is a senior organization executive and fundraising strategist with over 20 years of leadership in revenue generation, nonprofit management, team building and community capacity building. His approach focuses on building your organization's capacity to grow through strategic planning, innovative revenue and fundraising/sponsorship, partnerships and leadership training.

Richard has held senior leadership roles at BNP Inspire Philanthropic Consulting, United Way Eastern Ontario, YMCA-YWCA, Canadian Hard of Hearing Association, Youth Services Bureau, Family Enterprise Network and McConnell Foundation, along with supporting several human services agencies as their Interim Executive Director. 

As Principal of PLUM Solutions Consulting, he has led transformative strategic plans and built sustainable funding models for both national and community based non- profits. Currently he serves on the AFP Ottawa Board of Directors as Chair of Fundraising Day and has served on several national and regional boards and advisory committees advancing inclusion, social enterprise, and sector capacity building. Richard is known for his ability to build partnerships and align mission-driven goals with measurable results that drive lasting organizational impact.

Deirdre Speers, Senior Consultant

Deirdre brings more than 25 years of leadership in the charitable, not-for-profit and municipal sectors specializing in youth and family services, mental health, housing, child care, governance and community development. Previously, Deirdre’s leadership roles included:

• Executive Director Family Services Ottawa
• President and CEO of the YMCA-YWCA National Capital Region
• Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters Victoria and
• Governance roles on local, national & provincial Boards

She brings a vast repertoire of resources, knowledge and strategies to advance:
